They are driving me crazy they call early in the morning late at night all during the day and they are driving me crazy

Interrupt them and tell them to put you on their "Do not call" list. They are required to do so. Make sure that they will do this - ask them until they agree to do so.
And then register on the federal "do not call" list, on the link below.

Just tell them that there is somebody at your door; put the phone down, and don't pick it up again until the telemarketer has hung up.
If I don't know who is on the lihe, I answer the phone in German. They don't expect this. I have hd a lot of fun with this trick.
A couple of times when they asked for me by name, I have pretended to be somebody else and say someything like." I wish you could tell me where he is. When I find him, I am going to tear him into little pieces and feed him to my dog."
This works, too.
The very best thing to to is to monitor your calls through an answering machine. Telemarketers almost never leave messages.

hello well my name is troy schlaht telecommunications consultant well here is one idea if your phone company has theses options called anonymous caller id option this will help out also you could buy thses devices one is called the telezapper whice can stop most calls the other one is called ez hangup device whice plays a recording by push of a button and replys it and hangs up but you have to answer the phone if httyou live in canada on the website you can register your number with the canadian marketing assoc if your not in canada but use then check the internet for a relaible company that does this or you could warn them that your tried of thier calls and tell them that your going to use call trace option on them. or you could get call screen if your phone company offers it and it's just a regular number you can bloick it, if thier calling you blocked option i said abouve should also help too.and here's a thought you could add total call blocking on your line so your number never shows and get it unlisted from driecory assistance and the phone book. this might help you out. for other info you may wish to check out my website good luck.or check out called phonebusters on the internet.http://www.freewebs.com/troy01

go to www.donotcall.gov and put your number there. once you do all telemarketers have 31 days to remove your number from their calling lists, and if they continue to do so you can file a complaint against the company that calls

Find out if your state has a no call list. Or buy a phone butler. Also always make sure to ask them to remove youf rom the list. And ask them who supplies your name and number to them. Then call them and ask them to remove you from their list. Last but not least. Get their name number and addy and report them to the attorney general.
