Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself.

It's a lot of gun (the one you see in the movies is a S&W model 29) and it takes some consideration to fire it. The .44 mag has an enormous recoil factor (just like the .45 Long Colt) and I personally would not fire more than 10 to 12 rounds a week at the shooting range because of the potential for damage to the wrist and tendons. Same for the .45 L.C. If you want a good stopper, the .45 A.C.P. is a good one. Thats why the government favored them for many years. Yep, the .45 automatic is the way to go. It's comfortable to shoot, has plenty of stopping power, and ammo is inexpensive. Try it, you'll like it.

44 magnium is nolonger the most powerful handgun in the world.
the most powerful handgun mass produced would be the S&W 500 magnum.
the most powerful made would be the .50 BMG pistol
so a 44 magnum is not any symbol of luck, sorry
