The better idea is to find out WHY people are embarassed around you and change it.....Thats how you become a better person.

I think it's natural to feel insecure if people have always been embarassed to be seen around someone. It doesnt mean that they are right though... Also, it doesnt mean that this person needs to be insecure the rest of his/her life. Being able to recognize and admit to having insecurities is the first step to getting over it.

It is very difficult to have constantly be in that situation. I have learned from time and wisdom that we often teach people how to treat us. We hang our heads and react saddly.
What a person needs is to hold their head up high and KNOW within their self that they are worthy, People who makes anyone feel inferrior aren't worth anything themselves.

If you are talking about you......then let me say. You are a handsome young man. You look smart & capable of doing great things. I would advise that you stop those past feelings and make a new life with different people. If you expect respect (without vlolence) People will respect you.

My son went through something like this because he was hard of hearing and shy. I told him that I couldn't change the behaviour of the kids. But, he could choose to react differently to them. I told my son to fake confidence until he actually was confident. It worked. Once he stopped reacting to the bullies, they left him alone and moved on to other kids.

One time my son saw a smaller kid being picked on by a bully. He had confidence and could prject his voice with strength ,instead of fear & quietness that was him before. My son stood up to the bully took him by the ears and with authority told the bully that he needed to stop mistreating his friend. And stop right now. Since he spoke with authority and conficence he was able to solve a problem without fighting.

You need to rewire your brain and get rid of the past that has programed you to be less than you are. Everytime a negative thought goes through your brain, Replace it with a positive thought. For instance you are in public. You react expecting to be picked on.....in your brain you are saying that you are someone who embarassed to be with and that you arn't worth much and convince yourself that you are insecure.
Stop that kind of self talk. Change it to. "I am a worthy man, I am strong and smart. I respect people and with my head held high I am worthy of respect. I will expect people to honor and repect me because I am worthy of that.

Like I said before. You are very handsome. You have beautiful black skin. You look worthy of the best that life can give you. Only you can change you. Only you can change the way you react to bullies.

Convience yourself that you are worthy and the bullys of your past are just that.......past. You have the oppertunity to be the best you can be and not let stupid people shape your security.

You just have one life.....make it the best it can be.
