You know the answer. it has never changed..."diet and excersize'. You will need to get past the belief that there are other option like magic pills and surgery. Once you do that you will be better off.
Start keeping that contains the calories you eat in a day.
It will help you to learn proper portions. We are so used to super sizing that we forget the kids meal is the actual correct size for an adult.
I want to say to all those that say being big doesn't make you ugly. They are full of crap. Obviously they are still kids because they live is a fairyland. Being big may be attractive to 1% of our society and that is about it. I have been 265lbs and 185lbs I have to say at 185 I get more attention from the women and my inner beauty didn't change.
You can make this cahnge and you strat by getting off the computer and walking 2 miles.. go now!!
your not going...!!
you will be happy after you are done.
Good luck

First of all, being tall, you're never ever going to be a size 6 and 100 lbs. Besides who would want to be that thin anyway. I'm 5'8" and heavier than most men my height. I have a bit of "storage" here and there but forget BMI and all that crap. I don't look overweight but according to conventional charts, I am. Well, knickers to that. I've been on diets in the past and the only thing that has ever stabilized my weight is group support. Kind of like weight watchers here in the UK. I've learned to eat the right things and to eat the "sweets" in moderation. And now it's just habit.
However, what concerns me is your age, you're at a stage where things could take a turn for the worst in terms of eating disorders. I'm opening up the "contact me" thing so that you can get in touch and we can have a chat about all this.
In the meantime, calm yourself down, this is not something that you should be stressing about at your age.

The only thing that will work is diet and exercise. You need to control how much you eat, what you eat, and how much exercise you get. It's not much more complicated than that.
Go ask your doctor how to get started. Some of my friends had a lot of success with Weight Watchers.
Lastly, don't get discouraged if you find yourself working hard but not seeing results right away. If you're seriously overweight, it's going to take your body a long time to shed all the excess fat that has accumulated. It WILL happen, but only if you keep up with it. A lot of obese/overweight people give up prematurely and conclude that they were just meant to be fat and there's nothing they can do about it--this isn't true! Losing a lot of weight is hard. It does not come easily or quickly, but it ALWAYS helps. Even if you're not losing weight right away, your body will be healthier and that's the most important thing. Just be patient and stay motivated.

First let me ask a question. Are you a Christian? If so I can offer Biblically based help. If you are not then this answer will probably not work for you. The answer is to go to http://www.settingcaptivesfree.com and enroll in their free course :The Lords Table" it is a Biblically based diet program that works for everyone so far that has stuck with it. Now as for the quick fix you asked for there is not one you did not put on the weight overnight and it will take time and dedication. You might also check out the book "Digging my Grave with a fork and a spoon: By Mike Huckabee. He lost 105 pounds in 10 months if he can do it anyone can. He is the former Governor of Arkansas and hopefully soon to be the President of the USA.

Laura J by far is the stupidest person ever. Having said that, the best advice anybody can give you is to consult a physician/nutritionalist and they will guide you reasonably and by a step by step process. Things have worked for many overtly people and it will work for you too. Just grab up your pieces and with all the determination you can muster, pick up the phone and book an appointment right now. Good luck, and congrats on taking the first step.

Just cause your big, doesn't mean you aren't beautiful. You need to change your attutide. With a attutide like that, nothing it gonna help. Im 12. Ohh..Not the skinny type. Im just a little chub. But..I dont put myself in depression like that. First, Get on a healthy diet. Drink lots of water, and eat lots of veggies and fruites. Excersise daily. Curves is a GREAT place to go. Also, Dont eat lunch at school. Bring your own lunch. Way better and healthey. Don't starve yourself, Or anything. Way unhealhty. And maybe try not to eat meat. I dont usally eat meat. And it helps. Take vitamins. And if your docter says its ok, take diet pills. Dont worry, You are beautiful on the inside and out. =D HOPE I HELPED!!

Honey just start eating right. Since you're trying to lose a large amount of weight, take small steps at first. Start by cutting out one bad eating habit (i.e eating after 7pm) and incorporate some low-impact exercise like walking 3 times a day. Then go to the next step..hmm....maybe no more sugar....and up your exercise routine. Your body will drop lbs. fast in the beginning and as you get used to it, try cutting out one more bad thing until you've got yourself a healhty overall diet. Going on a crash diet is not too healthy and plus its harder to maintain (easier to binge and set you back). Take it one step at a time and you will see results.
