Thigh Tattoos -Ladies Only?

Question

I already have three tattoos: ribs, lower back, and lower stomach. I already know what i want for my fourth one. I was thinking and almost a 100% sure i want it on my right upper thigh. I've been trying to look online for pictures of them but i can't really find very many. My question is if and women out there have them and if they like the placement, and also maybe some sites i can look at, so i can see the placement and give myself a better idea on if i want it there or not. Any other information on placement in this area is also greatly appreciated. I have already gone through previous questions looking for answers. They weren't very helpful. I've been on bmezine, but there are so many pictures to look through and I've been through a lot and have not found many.

If your one of those people who says tattoos are ugly or you don't like people with them, Please don't answer the question. I'm sure there is something else you could be doing with your time.

I have a tattoo on my left thigh and I love it. It's easily hidden for work with pants or skirts, but easy to show off with shorts in the summer. I don't know of any websites with pictures, but personally, I think the thigh is a great place for a tattoo. You can try a henna tattoo of what you want permanently to make sure you like the placement and that it only shows when you want it to, just to be safe (like Somebody above me already suggested oops!).

i don't have any thigh tattoos but that will be my next tattoo. you should get a temporary tattoo on your thigh so you can see how it will look. i love the way a large thigh tattoo looks, something that is elongated that fits and flows well with the thigh.
any tattoo can look great just about anywhere as long as you have a talented artist who can make it work for you.

I dont know if you have already picked out the picture of the tattoo you want yet but if not then I would do that first. After you pick out your picture and decide on the size of the tattoo it will help you in deciding exactly where to have it placed on your thigh. You can also go into your tattoo palor and ask them what they think. Sometimes they can be helpful.

I have a larger tattoo on my right thigh and I really love it. You can cover it if you want or show it. So I think they look nice as long as you have the right design.

I don't know where you can find pics- sorry, but i think i know why they're more rare... my friedn who's a tat artist said that thats a super sensitive area and stretches more than most areas so not only does it really hurt, the pics morph-
maybe your hip would be cool- I've been thinking of getting one there for a while...

i think that thigh tat's r so hot and sexy i was thinking about getting one myself but i couldn't find any pics either so i was just going 2 go see the tat artist and ask him some questions so maybe thats what u should do

i dont know, i think tattoos rock too, and i have a couple of small ones, but in my opinion, the location is kinda weird. but then again, i guess not that many people have it there so that makes it unique. haha
