Freshwater either bass or catfish. But I live in southeast florida so 90% of the fishing i do is saltwater. I wouls have to say its split between 2 fish. Grouper and Dolphin.

Channel cat.
I don't have to do much thinking with those guys. Just toss out the bait and wait. Keep my fishing a recreational thing. Sit back and relax and enjoy doing it. Enjoy being outside and soak in the countryside.
Sometimes you even get hold of a big one (or a monster blue cat) and you have a bit of a thrill to cap it off with.

largemouth and smallmouth bass I'm a jr. tournament fisherman and i just love bass fishing but any fishing is great get you out of the house and your doing something better then most things kids my age get into. fishing is great because you have to outsmart the fish in order to catch them.

Bass are grate but I must say Channel cats are my favorite. Theres nothing like sitting on a bank late at night watching your pole explode and then having to reel for your life. Its a great rush.

i love fishing for bass, large and smallmouth. I look to go professional and make it my career. I have done 5 or 6 local tourneys so far and they were all top three finishes. I have one win.

Trout- I prefer to fish for both rainbow trout and brown trout. I am lucky enough to have a stream in my backyard, and I am able to catch them, using the right amount of bait. (Preferably flies.) I think trout are great because they taste great, and are easy to handle when caught.

Channel catfish. I like that I get to catch the frog myself then bait then. I also like how you just have to cast out and wait, you can even leave your rod resting on something and go sit by a fire or something. They also give you a really good fight.
