Given that the worlds various bibles/religions are, and have been used since their inception, to fuel hate, war, elevate people to (perceived) power...control masses ( pun intended ) of people...insight fear and prejudice... wouldn't it make sense that the devil himself is behind world religion?... how else would you get otherwise good hearted people to be so evil to one another while making them feel good about it?..

many of the so-called"modern" bibles are gretly influenced by the deceptions of the forces of evil... all man invented "religion" is influenced by the forces of evil.

satan is the prince of this world... his mission is to keep all he can from learning The Truth of God... what better way than to forment deceptions among mortals.... and "religion" is the most productive for him.

You know I think Hera and Zeus are cool but I don't worry about what I leave at the temple. I don't blame them for rain or bad luck. I don't cheer their praises. However there was a time that all the known world would have vilified me for not believing in them. Everyone KNEW the gods existed. For 4000 years the greatest minds on the planet just knew Osiris guided the matters of man. Do you really need to believe in Satan?
People have believed in something greater for a long time. It would seem the more we know about physics the more there seems to be something greater out there. It that something worth hurting anyone over? An idea that has changed again and again over time . Everybody wants the answer handed to them. Tell them who to love who to hate because its easy.
Good hearted people hurt each other because they are afraid. Afraid there wont be enough food, water, hope time, ect ect. Just so you know .....there is enough food grown everyday to easily feed the world. We choose to allow 40,000 people to die of starvation every single day. There are people dying of all kinds of thing because people have to be right and because they are afraid. We don't need god or the devil to be great or to be cruel.

Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the bible is filled, it would seem more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the Word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind.

I wonder how many axe murders teach Sunday school? And how many pastors have gunfights over turf? You must have read a Bible because there will be one world religion lead by the anti-Christ and the devil as stated in Revelations. Even Hitler was good hearted to his German Shepard.

I think if the Bible had an intelligent single-source of information, such as Satan, then it would be likely to be much more coherent, understandable, and believable. The Bible is a ludicrous jumble of unbelievable events, illogical statements, contradictions, and mind-numbingly disgusting acts that it promotes as "holy". I think Satan would have created something much better if he was involved in it.

Only humans could create something as ridiculous as the Bible, and only humans could be stupid enough to insist it is perfect.

Religion is one. But for intolerance, chauvinism and narcissism you don't need a religion. The Nazis killed over 11 million people without the "help" from a religion.

But the devil was conceived from religion. The question you asked is like the age old "Chicken and egg" question.

The way people choose to use an object does not necessarily speak as to the motivation for the creation of that object to begin with.
