There had been several customers before me and their hair was still on the floor around the chair. I had to walk over a lot of hair to sit in the seat. When I asked, the person did sweep the floor but then I felt guilty. Is this a common thing that hairdressers don't clean the floors after customers today?

I never seen one that didnt sweep it up before I sat down.
They should, its disgusting to walk through other peoples hair and dandruff.

Not if they are busy. Most people are in a hurry and dont want to wait for the hairdresser to sweep the floor. I think they should do it when there is nobody left to do or it gets to be to much

Normally any good salon will sweep up before the next customer sits down. I dont think it was rude- it was just more clean@!

I've never been to a hair dresser who did NOT sweep the floor prior to each customer.
If yours didn't then don't go back.

If the hairdresser swept up after EVERY customer there would be a delay in service and people would complain about that
