And what if pigs could fly? Your question is a non-sequitor. If Christ is the Messiah, then it doesn't matter what people think or don't think. If Christ is not the Messiah, then it doesn't matter what people think or don't think. Oh, and I know it's a small thing but....it's not "many" Jews; it's all Jews. Those people who call themselves Messianic Jews are not considered Jews by other Jews. It's really very simple: If you accept Jesus as your "savior", then you are a Christian. I'm probably going to get a few thumbs down for saying that....people never like to hear anything that they don't agree with whether it's true or not. I think Jesus was probably a man who tried very hard to improve the religion he was born into and teach people about peace, love and kindness. Too bad that some of his followers don't teach the same thing.

Jesus was the Messiah, because before him there was not sign of love in mankind in the Earth, Jesus was the Messiah because even when the late Jewish generations came to forget Genesis they have to come to understand that it is in Jesus where we are liberated from the very curse that they believed to be in, in Genesis.
The story of other messiahs like horus, etc. is the same as it is now. While we await for Jesus, many have come saying they are the truth, Santa Claus is a false messiah, The pope is a false messiah, etc. That the story of Jesus had been re-written around the Egyptian and Roman and Babylonian beliefs, because they knowingly changed Jesus birth and uplifting dates, as to reflect the masonic rites of old Egyptian and Babylonian Orders, has nothing to do with what is the real truth.

ummm, your question is grammatically incorrect. The way your question stands it sounds like you are saying Jews think Christ is the Messiah, which obviously they don't. Even if Christ wasn't the Messiah, he still showed people what it means to love God and love others. He pointed the way to God.

Christ's first coming fulfilled over 250 OT prophecies. The chances of only one person throughout all of history fulfilling even 8 of those prophecies would be 1 in 10^50. Yes, Jesus Christ was the One and Only Messiah - He was exactly who He said He was, and fulfilled all OT prophecies that Jews have known about for thousands of years.

Then their own scriptures are wrong and there is no Messiah.
The Messiah had to come during a specific period of time and fulfill hundreds of prophecies. Only Jesus fits the description. Still the Jews deny him because he didn't fit with their own idea of who he should be and how he should do things. To add to the irony, I can walk into any Jewish synagog and show you where their original scriptures say that most Jews will reject their Messiah. Go figure.

I personally think that it wouldn't matter if christ was not the messiah as many people have sought comfort in his teachings and just the though that he was sent by a loving God to save the people from their sins. I think merely by people thinking that he was the messiah has made him significant figure in many peoples lives and his teachings will have saved people even if they werent intended to. It will never truly be known if he was the messiah as even if another one was sent many christians would argue that this is a second messiah sent to speak to modern people therefore it will never be known if jewish techings or christian teachings are correct.
