To get muslims closer to me?

If you live in a country with a small Muslim community try to be apart of it as much as you can. Attend their meetings etc. Dont be a stranger and help as much as you can :)
If you live in a country that has a larger Muslim community then youre lucky and you need to get in there and show yourself. Be yourself, be appreciative, supportive, strong and SMILE ALL THE TIME!
Human beings cant help but like people who smile ^^
Also, dont be negative, brooding or too quiet for your own good. Be positive, and trust me, people will want you around because youre such a great person to have around!

The effort for getting muslims closer to you,you must develop a silaturahmi or communication with the muslim community association.You must be a member of that association.It is better if you try to be one of the managemnt of that associa tion.
You must propose a periodic meeting such as weekly,2 weekly or at least monthly get togetherness for discussing something interesting for the members such as about zakat or islamic taxes,how to help the poor,how to control desires,or any other knowledge for indepth understanding about Islam.
You must select the competent speaker and determine the place where is easily visited by the members.You can introduce yourself to all members of the associationYou can also visit the mosque and introduce yourself to all of jamaah
or attendants of the mosque.You can discuss something about Islam with the management of the mosque.You can suggest a weekly Qur'an recitation and intrepret its meanings verse by verse since surah 1 Al Fatihah up to surah An Naas the end for 114 surahs and 6.236 verses.You can also recommend a seminar for discussing islamic teaching compared to christianity teaching.By these activities you can get closer the muslims to you.Silaturahmi among muslims is suggested by Allah the only one God.By silaturahmi we can increase our rezeki or livelihood or subsistence or victuals.In line with hadith,silturahmi will make us a long life...In Indo nesia there is proverb that if we do not know well other muslims you can not love them. in line with islamic teaching..
