yes totally theyre making big steps forward,eg im diabetic and am gratefull to the scientists who researched and found insulin ,it keeps me alive,but having said all that im more gratefull to god for giving me my life in the first place.

Advances in medicine and scientific knowledge are good things but they will not make huge changes to humanity.
Humanity today is not that much different than it was two hundred years ago even with all of the advances in medicine and scientific knowledge since then.
True justice, world peace, the elimination of poverty and curable disease, and a profound respect for human life are the things that would "make huge changes to humanity."
