Why are many Christians-- especially the older females-- so quick to pass judgment.
I'm also a Christian, but I'm disgusted by the holy-than-thou attitude that many of my church mates have. They think that because they go to church 12 days a week and wear long skirts they are automatically saved, and can therefore sneer at the rest of us. They seem to forget that making mistakes is human, and none of us is in the position to call down judgment on another. I have become disillusioned with the church because of what I've experienced.
And before you come with the race issue, the females in question are from various races. Most are over 35.

It's flawed religious human beings who pass judgment. I am an older Christian woman (47) and I accept people just the way they are - flaws and all. I am not, however, religious. I don't believe in relgion. I am a non denominational/born again Christian. Christians need to walk and talk in the footsteps and words of Christ. If they did there wouldn't be holier than thou and judgment passing in the church. I know what kind of people you are speaking of and they make me want to spew. Don't let them get to you. They are in the wrong. You are the one who has it figured out :)

No one is automatically saved. Just in that moment they begin to sneer at other people they fall away from God, because they are doing abomination before God. As far as they don't want to repent of this sin, they have nothing in common with God and their teachers will give account before God.

If you read the bible, and observe the church, i'd say about 60-75% of *us* will not end up going to heaven...
Because, well, narrow is the path, and christianity has a vast number of followers...

Wow! You know people who go to church 12 days a week, huh? That's pretty cool!

well, those you mentioned are hypocrites....

there are people that attend service for more than just the ceremonial presence of having their neighbors see you...

If ever they cast a derogatory remark to you..remember to smile and say "I thought Jesus taught humility and also not to judge." Keep that smile while you walk away

That's what they're supposed to do.
