I know this isn't a site to post want ads but I am looking for a dalmatian (I live in Maine) and I've tried many search engines and sites and cannot find any dalmatian breeders. Is there only a certain time of year they can breed or am I just not looking in the right places?
I have tried searching states throughout New England, even the whole country and only found 2.

They have breeder referral lists and should be able to put you in touch with a breeder.

Have you tried going to akc.org and contacting the National Breed Club? They will do breeder referrals to those in your area that are part of the club. It's a better way to go than Internet sites anyway - more likely to find a legit breeder.

try petfinder.com and adopt one froma rescue group
