Yeah, everytime i drive in reverse, i hear this grinding noise. At first i thought my exhaust was scrapping but i found out its not. It is really ******* annoying.

Yeah um...... the grinding noise really happens the worse when at low rpms in reverse, when i rev it a little 2500-3000 backing up the noise really isnt there

More information please. How about the thumping over bumps from the right side rear wheel area? Reverse is not driving foward look for the tin shield between the cat converter drive shaft some times hits backing up. Worn rear differential mounts or center support on the drive shaft may be worn out. What Year and miles? manual or automatic?

If you put it in reverse and you here grinding noises than its the transsmission you should go get it checked

If it is a standard it may be your clutch. Thats all I can get from what you said. I used to have an eclipse that would make a grinding and it was the clutch

check your brake pads you may by down to the warning squeaker on the brake pads.
