Maybe you should study harder.

No. That just means you did worse the second time around, which may actually be BECAUSE you studied harder, not in spite of it.

If you take a break from studies, especially the day right before the test, you actually have a better chance of remembering critical information needed for the test.

The worst thing you can do is stop trying to be something you feel. Pray harder and study longer and show God that you really want this. It could be a test just to see how strong you are. Don't let a test score knock you off course. STAY FOCUSED! God bless you..

Nah, although this god fellow is still a partial mystery, and I prefer it that way. I do not believe a supernatural being would effect your MCAT scores just to make a point. You might have just had a bad day, need to study more and focus less on what ppl think of you or a supernatural being thinks of you and start focusing on what you think of you and search in your life and depend on yourself and the occasional help to choose the right career for you. I made a horrible score on a paper, but I still many other things pointing towards me being somewhere in public relations or the culinary arts.

I don't think God is trying to tell you not to become a docor. It can be disappointing to be denied something we really want especially when by all practical views it is something good. Don't stop trying. Things sometimes seem harder when we're trying to do a good thing. Try different things to calm your nerves especially when you're about to take a test. You may find that you'll do better when you are not so worried. Continue to study. I'm pulling and praying for you, K...You'll do just fine...take care...

well my daughter asked God the same thing when she was in college. She wanted to be a doctor but also have a family. So she worked hard and studied, but also she prayed every single day and asked what she should do? She had a family and works in the medical field.

No, sometimes God is challenging us to work harder. I had to take the GRE twice to get into grad school. When God wants to tell you to do something, he will make it clear and let you know in terms easy for you to understand. He does not try to trick us. Be blessed.

Why does everyone want to blame God for their failures, that really pisses me off.

Have you ever thought that this means that you need to study harder?

Wakeup people, you have to bear some responsibilities for your own life. Don't try to put everything on God.

I see no reason to believe that this has any supernatural cause.

There are so many other factors. The amount of studying you did, the wording of the test questions, your own confidence and ability to take tests...

It's quite a stretch to see any hand of "God" in there.

They take the best of several scores however many they are. May not just be as well rounded as you thought. Maybe medical school isn't everything, most likely you'll be a specialist instead of the famed GP/FP...etc.
