Question one: there is probably something different after this life.
Question two: It matters not what I prefer or not. Whatever is is and that is what I will have to deal with when I leave this body.♥

We have a physical body, and a spiritual body, so they is definitely life after death. I am a Christian, the Holy Spirit lives within me because I have been saved, I can feel his presence in my heart, I know without a doubt. If you were saved you would know to. If you believe Jesus is the son of God you can have the same thing. If you believe, just say this prayer, Dear Jesus, I believe you are the son of God, I believe you came to earth to die on a cross for me to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins and rose from the grave the third day, I know and confess that I am a sinner in need of your salvation. I ask you to come into my heart now and save me, in Jesus name I Pray, Amen... If you just Prayed that Pray with a sincere heart you are now saved and Jesus lives inside your heart. Find a church, get you a Bible and start reading. Its a wonderfull world being a born again Christian. If you have questions please feel free to send me an email. Good luck to you and God Bless YOU!!

As a Forn Sidr (Asatru), I do not see it as afterlife, but more like next-life, as we do not see the life after this life as permanent either (no eternal heaven or hell). There are nine worlds of existence (that we know of), and where you go next depends on what you accomplished here. That's the prevailing theory anyway.

Of course there is and of course I do. I am very dysfunctional as a human and ready for a make over.
I'd prefer to go in the rapture and not die though. If that's OK with every one involved.

I think the idea of really and truly being gone for eternity is really hard for humans to comprehend.

So, obviously I'd prefer another life. Actually, I'd really like reencarnation.

Yes, there is life after death. There are many scriptures in the Bible that refer to eternal life.

well...I'm going to say "yes" and pick door one. why? Because a carpenter from Bethlehem told His friends He was going to have to die, but not to worry, He'd be back in 3 days.

As for those that say "No, there is no such thing", I'm wondering which expert they are listening to who has actually been there, done that (died) and brought back the t-shirt?

Seems to be a lot of "experts" teaching who don't have any actual "experience" in dying.

I don't prefer either one.

The logical choice is that there is no life after death.

That would be nice...I don't want to cease to exist, but then it's not my choice anyway.

I think there is one-- I've seen spirits and they had to come from somewhere, right?
