...many times I have referred to Biblical Scripture in my answers and many others have done the same for it is righteous to do so
...this time, however, I am answering from my heart and soul...I "know" Jesus is the Son of God...the Alpha and the Omega...many ask how I know...
I knew when I fell in love with my late husband that it was real...I knew the first time I laid eyes on my son that he was a gift from God...I know lots of things simply by the heart ...I "know" Jesus walked this earth and that He was here 2000 yrs ago as the Father in the flesh...I "feel" it just as I feel other truths...
there is no question in my soul...He is my Savior and the Savior of the World...logic or science can argue all its wants...Christ is Lord !

Buddha was here more than 2,500 years ago, and let's see I think it was the Dalai Lama who won the Nobel Peace prize and not Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson. Neither the Buddha nor any of the Dalai Lamas ever claimed to be god, nor have their followers ever felt the need to proclaim them such.

These kinds of things are so silly. You want to follow Jesus, great! Go do it! But the need to get a big foam finger and say "whoo hoo, we're number 1" is a haughty mask for insecurity and doubt, so why keep going there?

There is no "might be" about it. And there is nothing wrong with proclaiming the Truth. If we are wrong then just ignore us. "As for who wanted Him dead anyway?" The short answer is: everyone. The better answer is that God the Father SENT His Son. It was God's idea that Jesus be allowed to die for us. He wanted to know us, and live in communion with us so much that He was willing to die for us.
Many men have won the Nobel Peace prize who have not claimed to be God. Invalid logic.
And lest you argue that my believing in Jesus as God is invalid logic. Let me save you the time. You're right. It is humanly illogical to believe that Jesus is God. This belief is had in the arena of faith rather than simple finite logic. Human reasoning is finite and incapable of encompassing the things and ways of God. I loved the answer: I know in my heart, because I love my husband, my children etc. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians

Following what the Bible says, Jesus called himself the son of man. He claimed we were all children of God. When he taught us to pray he started with, "Our Father", telling me once again that we are all Gods children, including Jesus. There are several incidents in the Bible where Christ told people that he was not God, but of God, and here only to carry God's message.
Peace

I do not think He might be God I know that HE IS GOD in the flesh. You see God is a spirit and has no flesh, but God took on human flesh in the form of the one called Jesus, so yes Jesus was and is God!

"Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" The correct answer from Simon Peter brought a blessing from the Savior - for Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God!" Thus the Lord replied. "Blessed art thou Simon Bar-jona..." (Matthew 16:13-17). May I add that such a declaration of faith will always bring God's Blessing.

I suppose there might have been a 30 year old Jewish rabbi, son of a carpenter, named Jesus (Yeshua) that lived about 2000 years ago. However, what proof (other than the bible) do you have that he actually did and said everything that is attributed to him in the bible?

Everyone has there own truth. You could say that your God is the one who answers you when you pray. I am Christian because jesus is the one who answers me. But imagine if all religons are beliefs set upon different versions of the same God. Its possible right!

i believe that jesus is Gods son which makes him only half human. so in a way he is only part God which is probably why he made such an impact on the world.
