I don't believe in 1 God almighty or follow any sort of religion, but I do believe there are spirtual forces on earth and in the univerise. And I think a lot of miracles that happen are from the power of our minds, but I'm not niave enough to think that is no greater "power," however it exists.

A god is that which comes first in your life. It's the things you like to talk about when there's nothing left to talk about, it's the things you like to do when there's nothing that needs to be done, it's where your thoughts go.

A god can come in any form. It could be your car; it could be going fishing; it could be your family; but most of all, for most people, it is themselves.

Now, if you are talking about God, rather than god, God is the eternal creator of all things. One of His names states, basically, that God has within Himself sufficient cause for His own existence without any prior cause. In other words, God is the uncaused First Cause; God is the uncreated Creator.

And, just as you can know something about an artist by looking at his artwork, likewise, we can know something about God by looking at His creation. Look at the stars, and you see order. Look at the intricacies of the cell (DNA, the mitochondria, protein synthesis, etc), and you see incredible intelligence. Etc.

So very much more can be said, but that should be enough for now.

Question: How do you define God?

God is beyond definition. But according to one's own vision or receptivity, one will define God in one's own way. Some will say that God is all Love. Others will say that God is all Power. Each one will see God according to his own necessity, his own receptivity and, finally, according to the way God wants him to see the ultimate Truth.

I see God with form and without form. I see Him as boundless Consciousness, limitless and endless Consciousness. Again, I see Him as energy, infinite energy. But usually I see the Supreme in the form of a most luminous, golden Being. When I converse with Him, I also see this form. I am extremely fond of this particular form. Here on earth, where we judge beauty with the human eye, we feel that a particular child is most beautiful. But I wish to say that the Supreme that I pray to and converse with is infinitely more beautiful than the most beautiful child on earth.

Again, the same Supreme, who is my Beloved, who is my Pilot, may assume the formless form of infinite Light, Peace and Bliss. But I personally prefer the personal form.

Some people don't even like to use the term "God." The Buddha did not use the term "God." He used the term "Bliss," or "Nirvana." But we have to know that this transcendental Bliss is none other than God Himself. Inside this Bliss is divine perfection and satisfaction. If you want to call it Bliss, you can. And if you want to call it God, you can do that, too. Whatever gives you satisfaction is the right way for you.

God is whatever people who believe in God say God is. The believers define what God is to them.

(Gravity: an invisible force that pulls us downward) ACCEPTANCE. We look for a god to look up to, but we should be looking in a mirror. I think, therefore I am. We are the gods. Life is too big to comprehend. Live it, and you will get as much of it as you CAN comprehend.
