ok i got this adaphia(SP?) cable box (you know get almost 1000 channels on it + the hbo and other movie channels). it worked perfectly fine for a while but in the last few months its been not showing most of the channels. like if i put it on 98 and below it wont show the show. but if i put it on like 154(the n for me) it'll show the show but it breaks up the picture. my oldest brother says its the connection, my mom says its the tv. i dont know what it is. has this ever happend to you? what was it?

It's more than likely the cable. Check all your connections and make sure they're good and tight.
Try hooking the cable and to another TV if you can and if it does the same thing then you know for sure it's the cable and not the TV.

Most likely the connections, if you suspect that, it would be a good idea to get new cable. You could have a break in the line somewhere, it would be a good idea to have the cable company come out and check the connections outside as well, they do have a tendency to corrode in bad weather
