No, there is never a time, I believe God controls everything and even though sometimes someone does something evil that causes a woman to get pregnant like rape or incest God is still the one that allows that woman to get pregnant. God can and does take a negative and turn it into a positive. Abortion is murder. A terrible sin against God, this partial birth abortion stuff is barbaric, hideious, unbelieable. Please donot have an abortion, raise the child, The Bible says that if you raise a child in the way that they should go when they are old they will not depart from it. Have you ever excepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. This is the most important decision you have ever made or ever will make. Get saved today, heres how, just Pray this Prayer right now, Dear Jesus, I believe you are the son of God, I believe you came to earth to die on a cross for me to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins and rose from the grave the third day, I know and confess that I am a sinner in need of your salvation. I ask you to come into my heart now and save me, in Jesus name I Pray, Amen... If you just Prayed that Pray with a sincere heart you are now saved and Jesus lives inside your heart. Find a church, get you a Bible and start reading. Its a wonderfull world being a born again Christian. If you have questions please feel free to send me an email. Good luck to you and God Bless YOU!!

In a perfect world, no, abortion would not be permitted because it wouldn't be neccessary.

But, in the real world, I believe that abortion should only be permitted in cases of rape or incest, or when the mother's life is in extreme danger. A woman should have every right to choose if she has a child or not. Under most circumstances, that choice is made when a couple decides to have sex. If they're not willing to face the possibility of having a child, even if it is a small possibility, then don't do the things that might get you pregnant. Getting pregnant isn't like getting a cold, after all. But, a woman who is raped is not given that choice. Also, no one can make the decision of whose life is more important, the child's or the mother's. If there is a circumstance where a mother is almost certain to die if she does keep her child to term, then that decision should be her's and her family's to make.

Other than those extreme cases though, I fully believe that the right to life supercedes every other right.

you don't have to be religious to be against abortion. i personally think abortion is a huge copout for people that can't deal with responsibilities and rammifications of sex. i think in some circumstances, an abortion would be appropriate and that would only be when the the chance of the fetus's survival outside of the womb are slim to none, or if they know, via amniocentesis, that a child will never life a full life and suffer chronic painful disability or disease. i also think if a woman was molested or raped and became pregnant that an abortion could be considered to save the integrity and mental stability of the victim (and that's only a maybe). especially if the victim were a chilld. i would never have one. i have a child so i know how precious a young life is.

Abortion is another word for murder. Murder that any woman can get away with. I beg you if you know anyone who is going to do this please ask them to put the child up for adoption rather than kill it. Abortion is never permitted. A great saint Saint Giana Mola was going to die if she did not have an abortion. She chose to let the tiny baby who she already loved so much to live rather than be selfish and let her baby die. Abortion is more intense than just giving birth. Just imagine your baby's face after he/she is born, a living creature. God's greatest gift is life. So many people want to adopt children in America that they have to go to China to do it. I have a lot of siblings and we are very happy. My mom was talking to a woman who had one child. The lady was very unhappy, not because she had one child but because she refused all the others. If i did not have so many siblings then there would be no dancing, (we are all girls except one baby boy) no fun talks about guys at night. I don't know what i would do.
Ok, i guess that i have rambled enough.
God Bless you and your family. And whoever is thinking about this Q.

My sect opposes abortion in the majority of cases, but seeks to keep it legal for the exceptions.

Exception 1: If rape results in pregnancy
Exception 2: If the mother's or child's life is in peril
Exception 3: Extreme deformation or developmental issues

In most other cases the mother is strongly encouraged to carry to term, preferring adoption over abortion. However it is ultimately the parents' decision.

When my daughter [not the one with me in the picture] went into full labor, and her organs began to shut down, and she was about to die, it was either her or the child.
I did not have to tell the hospital what to do.
They took the child.
And my daughter lived.
We had a funeral and everything. Very hard.
But we did not visit a 'human-hamburger-clinic' for this.
It is the policy of nearly every hospital in the US to always save the life of the mother FIRST.

In the eyes of religious leaders the only time abortion is permitted is if the fetus is the result of a rape.

in the 10 commandments is states Thou shalt not kill. No abortion is ever allowed for any reason what so ever, not even for the life of the mother. God gives life and takes it we just accept.

Only if the mother will definatly die if she carries the pregnancy to week that the baby will be viable.

I have lupus, so my pregnancies were high risk, so this wasn't a hypothetical question for us- it was a real question with real life implications. I decided I would rather die trying to give my baby life than to willingly end her life. We took the risk and she was born full term and healthy.
