My dad sold a car to me so I got the tittle into my name and I wrote up a bill of sale. In the state of colorado do I have to have the bill of sale notarized?

I don't know if you have to, but advise doing it anyway. Usually there are notaries at the bank and at places like Fed-Ex Store or the UPS Store. Usually only costs about $2.

Even though the car was actually sold to you, why not claim it as a gift and save the tax money? Most states allow this within the family. The title should have been notarized when it was changed over into your name.

no, just the title signed over to u from ur dad, bill of sale, and any other info like if the car's a salvaged, then u need all the paperwork letting u know that its salvaged and for what reasons.
