Most 4 year programs have a set list of requirements in order to get a degree and they often include math and statistics. I had trouble in math and statistics but I pulled through. You just need to be proactive in getting help. Don't give up because I know that you can do it. It's worth it. We use math everyday and it's good to take these classes because they teach logic and reason. Once you understand it, you may develop a love and a talent for it. An actress did. She was on the Wonder Years. Danica McKellar. She said that she had trouble in math but once she got passed it, she ended up majoring in Math. That's great that you want to work for a magazine. You should know that it's a highly competitive field. You could look into working for a trade magazine because it's less competitive. You would get experience that way. Just a suggestion. I work with trade magazines. I handle the press for the company I work for now.

Depends on college requirements. If you have finished the first 2 years of college, looking at your major, most likely you don't have to take more math classes. But if you haven't studies a course in college at all, most likely you will have to take some basic math classes.

You'll almost surely have to take some math for pretty much any degree. What courses are required, and how many, will depend on the degree and the school.

'Will I have to take math classes?'

Sigh.

I weep for the future.

Yes, you will need math. An educated person in any field needs a few math classes under thier belt.

It will probably depend on the major. A friend of mine majored in sociology, and took logic instead of math.
