If you loose that much weight in one week you will die! It's just not possible. Loosing too much weight at once is unhealthy actually.. The most you could loose is about 8 lbs in a week.

wow that really is quite extreme! And not really possibly! Unless you don't eat for two weeks not even one and hope to survive, which i STRONGLY advise against not doing!
You haven't even said how much you do weigh and your height and your gender and 60 pounds is a lot to loose for anyone espically someone who as its for school im guessing is under 18?
Are you sure you even need to loose 60 pounds or is that just some ideal that would look good if you were a completly different body shape? Or did you put loads on in the summer lol?
Anyway I'm sorry to say it as ive asked questions like this before on other sights ( how can i look completly different in two days or sumink like that lol ) and hoped for a great answer like exercise half an hour a day and don't eat chocolate, but the reality is, loosing weight and changing your shape is a lifestyle change, if you are overweight or alot bigger than you would like to be it's a slow and consistent process. Enjoy eating healthly and looking after your body, enjoy using your body for fitness and health with exercise on a regular basis, and don't boredom, comfort or generally over eat and you can still have the odd bit of junk, and although you won't looks like a different person in two weeks, you will start to see changes in your weight gradually and be more likley to keep it up!! Celebrate health not size!

Hi, you are setting an unrealistic goal. The only way you can lose that much weight or close to it in two weeks would be surgery (such as a tummy tuck, Lipo etc) but even then you would having swelling and their are risks involved. You can lose maybe 15 pounds in two weeks or even 20 pounds by counting your calories based on your current weight. Overall a 1,000 to 1,200 calorie diet is good. Cut your carbs increase protein and start working out with cardio such as aerobics or running and even fast walking daily for 30 minutes. Drink lots of water and stay away from soda, candy, chips and other bad foods that pack on calories and fat. Losing 15-20 pounds in two weeks in the right areas can make you look like you lost more. Also check with your doctor regarding particular exercise programs if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes etc. rather be safe than sorry. Good luck but do it in a healthy way and you will be more likely to keep it off.

That's not going to happen. 60 lbs is a lot of weight to lose in 1 week. Too much weight and it is not healthy. I had a hard time losing 10 lbs in two months!!!

you cannot lose 60 lbs in a week, short of amputating a body part. If you want to lose quickly go to a GNC or health food market AND LOOK FOR AN ALL INCLUSIVE PROTEIN SHAKE THAT YOU DRINK 3 TIMES A DAY. I HAVE LOST 20 LBS IN A MONTH ON THAT.

Um, it's not LOOSE weight, it's LOSE weight.

LOOSE, with two O's means loose as in "these pants are too loose"

LOSE, with one O means to lose something, as in lose 60 pounds, or lose points for asking questions with spelling errors in them.

Its totally completely realistic. Unless you go morbid and have arms removed.

The key in losing more than 15 pounds and keeping it off is lifestyle change. Not dieting.

Unless you weight 1000+ pounds there is no way to lose that much weight in 1 week safely or even unsafely.

That is ridiculous amount of weight for that time frame. It would take over a year to lose that and keep it off. Try to learn about healthy eating and exercise.
