Go to the dentist and get your teeth cleaned, you may even need periodontal treatment where they will clean under the gums.

Your dentist will be able to tell you exactly what you have and give you the proper treatment for it. You may think it is gingivitis because that is just something common you hear about and try to treat that, but if you have something else, the treatment isnt going to work.

Regardless of what you have, you need to have it checked out immediately before it gets worse, or too late

You may have check it out from your dentist since you urgently need so. You need immediate treatment to not let it get worst.

Gingivitis almost always leads to bad breath, a serious social problem for many people. Brushing the teeth to remove plaque and tartar helps, as does treating canker sores that may appear on the gums and taking other steps to maintain good oral hygiene. Unless gingivitis is kept under control by tooth brushing and flossing and where necessary, the use of antibacterial products like OraMD, the condition will recur.

Listerine does not make your gums recede. Use it. If not then dont worry about it. 9 out of 10 people have Gingivitis.

Gum problems need to be checked out by your dentist as you may need to have treatment from an oral surgeon for your problem. If you will be getting your 6 month check up within the next month or so then wait it out but if you are not due for your 6 month checkup for a while then make an appointment now to get checked.
