I belong to the Consumer Reports website, and I followed their advice when it came to UVA/UVB protection. Neutragina Sunblock with Helioplex has been ranked as the best. I also play tennis and I just love it. And since using it I have not burned at all. It abosorbs nicely into the skin without the oily residue and it has no odor. I tried using the Coppertone sport which is supposed to be sweatproof, but I didn't like it because it did sweat into my eyes and caused my contacts to turn white! If it is really hot where you are, you should think about getting the H2O grip to put on your racquet, it sweeps the moisture away, and is soft and comfortable to hold!

Sun protection occurs either through physical factors (titanium dioxide: it´s like a shield or barrier) or chemical factors (substances that chemically modify the way the light alters melanocites). A shield will offer the best protection, but it´s also the messiest: it´s white and there´s no way around it. I´d still use that becasue it´ll offer the best protection, and you´ll shower it off anyway after playing tennis. Don´t forget to put on sun protection for everyday life too: a chemical factor will be fine and enough for this kind of exposure.

I burn all the time. The only thing that ever stops me from burning is Coppertone Sport Sunblock. The spray-on kind. It comes in 30 and 15 and probably higher, but I've never had to go higher-that's how good this stuff is.

Any sort of sunblock. I would go with one especially made for sports since those are usually not greasy and don't sweat off as easily. I'd get the highest SPF you can and remember to reapply it every few hours.
