Actual recipes that you use and have gotten rave reviews. Extra points if it's an original!
Here is one of mine- I always have people requesting I bring it to their BBQ or potluck and it is ridiculously easy:
1 lb of ground turkey sausage browned up in saucepan. Add one jar of your favorite salsa and heat through. Add one large can of refried beans and 2 cans of Campbell's nacho cheese soup. Heat through and put into a nice bowl for dipping. Serve warm with chips. Simple but really tasty.

My Balsamic Chicken. It always gets rave reviews!
4 chicken breasts (prefer on the bone)
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 Balsamic vinegar (a little more if you like tangy chicken)
Juice of a whole lemon
1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard (NOT YELLOW!)
2 chopped shallots
2 chopped gloves of garlic (more if you like it garlicky)
Dash of salt and pepper.
Whisk together and pour over chicken in glass dish. Cover and put in fridge for up to 2 hours.
Place chicken in baking dish and pour remaining marinade over breasts.
Cook UNCOVERED in 400 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes and pour remaining juice over them.
Yum! This is sure to please. When ever I serve it, the chatting stops and the moaning in ecstasy begins!
Hope you like it!

Hormel Chili in a can (no beans)
1 block of pepper jack cheese

Just cube the cheese and melt the 2 together on the stove. Serve with tortilla chips and it is easy and fantastic.

This is not a potluck dish and it probably isnt original but it is a huge hit with my family of 7. I take chicken breast and either cut open the middle or pound them down to roll and stuff them with stuffing and them pour cream of mushroom soup over the top with some canned mushroom poured over that and I just bake it til the chicken is done.Very yummy!!!

Chips and dip, which is just a secret canned chili and velveta with some sour cream. Everyone loves that.

Something I'm not going to go into detail with because that would take to long to type up... Homemade cinamon rolls and also homemade pumpkin bread... both from scratch, and both very good!

My husband made up this Swedish meatball recipe, and I perked it up a bit. Everybody loves it...until they find out what's in it!

16 oz. sour cream
8 oz. brick of cream cheese
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 to 1.5 soup cans of milk
A big spoonful of minced garlic
4 oz. can of chopped green chiles
About 16 oz. frozen Italian meatballs

Combine everything but the meatballs in a crockpot on low. Stir occasionally. When it's all liquified, dump in the meatballs and cook another couple hours.

It's amazing, even my husband's co-workers loved the smell and asked for the recipe. My diet-conscious cousin came back for thirds!

this one is an original my step mom threw together when i was little, and it quickly became a family favorite. now i make it for my husband and his friends, and they always eat seconds!

1 box bowtie pasta
1 large jar your favorite alfredo sauce
2 c fresh or frozen broccoli
1lb boneless skinless chicken breast
1 small purple onion

chop onion and brown with butter or olive oil in a large skillet [with a lid handy]. add chicken and cook until done in the middle. meanwhile, cook the pasta, but not all the way done. cut up the chicken and add all ingredients to the skillet. cook, covered, on medium-high heat until it's as hot as you'd like it. serve with garlic toast, breadsticks, rolls...whatever you like.

it's pretty simple and cheap to make, and the guys always ask me to make it. :)
