See my mom is like that she's like as long as you're under my roof you won't not until you move out and are able to provide for yourself.. the whole spiel...lol... i want to get my tat on the back inbetween my shoulders but it'll be from shoulder blade to shoulder blade so i don't know... i mean she's all into plastic surgery now all of a sudden she got her ankles fixed, she had fatty deposits, and now she wants a tummy tuck so i'm like then i'll get my tat and she doesn't say anything. i think you should just talk to your parents more try to convince them see why they don't want you getting it. Other than that life in college is different so i'm sure if you just get it and one day they see it hopefully they won't kick you out. Good luck with that tat let me know what your parents say and how things work out.

I have the same problem the first two years of college im going to be leaving at home and my parents are totally against tattoos. ive been wanting to get one for a very long time and since im 18 already i decided to get one against my parents wishes, of course i got it in a place where they cant see it. have you thought about your butt, its not such a bad place, or a place where you know that your parents wont see and that you feel comfortable with.

i assume you are talking about your dad kicking you out if you get a tattoo?
that sucks. he has that right as a parent and you will be an adult so you can live on your own. i guess you have a decision to make. personally if i had been given that ultimatum i would take the free room and board and wait until i moved out to get a tattoo. tattoos are cheaper than two years of rent.
good luck with your decision.

My best friend got a tattoo when she was 18 and got kicked out.
It was her name on her ankle about 1.5 inches tall in really pretty font.
Her dad is way more conservative than her mom but he was so p*ssed when her mom kicked her out. He begged her to come back but she didn't want to.
She moved to her aunt's and she's happier there.

Almost 18 doesnt mean a thing to your Father.......His house his rules and if you disrespect your father by getting a tatoo you deserve whatever he may do to you weather its kick your *** or toss you out of his house..........Take what your father said if your going to get a tatoo wait til you move out of his house then go and get one.......

My parents are 1000% agianst tattoos. If you want to get a tattoo, make sure it's in a place where your parents wouldn't be able to see it.
