I just got a new tattoo on Sunday (its now thursday) and for the first time i am using H2Ocean Cream. It stings when i out it on. Its the only thing i'm using besides soap and water when i shower. Is this Normal???

It does have Sea Salt. I do have sensitive skin. And my tattoo was a cover up so the artist really got in there to make sure he covered every bit. I guess I'm just being paranoid...lol

It should not sting, unless you got tha one that has sea salt in it. I doubt thaty is the one you got though. I have used it on my last two tats and it did a wonderful job for me. I can only think you have very sensitive skin. Now does it sting or is it just cool when you put it on, cause it will feel cool. Hope all works out and welcome to the club.

yeah, i used my parent's h2ocean once when i forgot my lotion at home and it did sting but in my opinion most lotions sting a little bit when you put them on a tattoo so it seemed totally normal to me.

I worked for the H2 ocean company it will sting if there's any openings left on your tattoo and it will sting a little during the healing process after a couple days too so if the stinging doesn't go away after a week I would stop using it and use a sensitive lition!

yes. it antibacterial and there r still tiny openings in ur skin after about 2-3 days it will stop burning

Check the due date on the cream....maybe that will help! because it shouldnt sting =/ maybe not to get any on the tatto area if it still stings...ITS THE CREAM! =] good luck

probably you did just have so many holes punched through your skin and ink bush beneath for the love of art it sounds normal to me
