since they all seem to believe they are going straight to Heaven after they die?

No. I don't look forward to dying. Even though I believe in Heaven (but have no proof) I am scared to death of dying. I am afraid of the unknown. I admire people who say they have no fear of death be it atheists, christians, muslims etc. I guess my faith is lacking because I have serious issues when it comes to death.

I'm a christian, but not a fundie, so I can't say what they think, but I know I certainly don't look forward to it. Its not the fear of an afterlife, I have no fear of that, its the actual physical pain involved in the dying part I don't want to deal with. Actually, anyone who really reads the bible understands that no one goes straight to heaven, the dead sleep until judgment.

Yes and no. We have the assurance of knowing the next life will be better than this one, but we don't want to die until we've reached as many people for Christ as we can. If we're still breathing, we still have a purpose, and fulfilling that purpose is an adventure.

Rejoice in death and mourn at birth. Heaven is a much better place than the world we live in. Life here is but a glimpse to the time we will spend there. The feeling of being killed or persecuted, or however it is, I will die- scares me, but life after death will be a great reward. Good Question.

I think they look forward to going to heaven and spending eternal life with God, so at the very least I doubt that they'd be afraid of it.

Jamaican proverb: Everybody wanna go heaven. Nobody want dead.

Eagles proverb: And you can see them there, on Sunday mornings. They stand up and sing about what it's like "up there." They call it paradise. I don't know why you'd call someplace paradise, then kiss it goodbye. (The Last Resort, from the album Hotel California).

No one looks forward to dying. However, we do not fear it because our life is wrapped within the One who has the keys to death and the grave.

Revelation 1:18
I [Jesus] am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of the grave and of death.

John 14:2-4
In My [Jesus] Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

If you were a normal person you wouldn't look forward to dying, and we are normal people just with very strong beliefs ! we are firm in our religion but that doesn't impede us from being human.

I look forward to the return of the King of kings to see Him, praise Him, to reign and rule with him. And you can too.
