If that quote is true -- that everyone is ignorant (because no one knows the truth) -- then are you saying that we are ALL evil?

Ignorance is interesting in context. Ignorance is relative but truth is not. You can find yourself ignorant just by leaving one room and entering another. You can also convict your self of ignorance after you learn something.
Truth is not relative. The reason truth will prevail (yes there is logic here), is that truth can be discovered independently and repeatedly. But non-truth usually needs to be systematically copied for it to spread. There are some exceptions, false knowledge that is truth-like in property, predicated on some correlated evidence can persist.
If you admit change, and using the property of truth's durability then we are all continuously emerging from ignorance. Doing this gracefully is the key to happiness. Another interesting thing, if you think evil exists (and I do), then you must sooner or later admit that you cannot distinguish ignorance from evil stemming from the depth of the ignorance.

Ignorance of the truth is certainly an important factor in today's wicked society. However, knowing the truth is possible. The power of prayer in faith, sincerity and humility in the name of Christ will avail you much. The truth will be revealed to you by the power of the Holy Ghost. By the power of the Holy Ghost, you may know the truth of all things.

No Molly is wrong. It is money, but then of course it could be ignorant money, but God says it is money and we must believe God. Not all money is ignorant. God is the truth and the only truth - Read the Bible and know the truth. Molly is probably home reading her Bible and trying to find the truth.

Nope -- Direct from the greatest book of all --
the love of money (i.e., greed) is the root of all evil. (1 Timothy 6)
Think about all the evils done in the world -- clearly greed for money and what it can get you is responsible. With every major issue in the world, you can always find the answer to why it is done -- follow the money.
And yes there is truth, and we all can know the truth, because God has given it to us in His revealed word to us. "You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

I respectfully disagree. The person with the highest IQ on this planet could devote all of their energy and intelligence to making the world a better place to live. They will not make a perfect world. They would not be evil in my opinion. We might make a dent if all would utilize their personal resouces to the benefit of all, but that is not likely to happen.

what's being ignored?! as for knowing the truth, i read How to See Yourself as You really Are by the Dalai Lama and i think the Tibetan Buddhists are pretty damn close to figuring it out.(or they have?!). in fact the book is exactly about what observable facts are being ignored.
