download form 4506-T from www.irs.gov and the form has a fax number where to fax it, you can also have it sent to your financial aid office.

or call 1-800-829-1040, and ask for a Return Transcript of your account.

Both are free, if you want a copy of your tax return download form 4506 and you must pay $39.00 for a copy of your return.

It is better to ask for the free Return Transcript it is acceptable for loans, financial aid etc.

You can call IRS at (800) 829-1040 or send Form 4906 and request a return transcript by fax (today) or mail (takes a bit longer). That generally sufficies for college financial aid.

If you used PC software, just print out another copy. If a paid preparer did your return, they might be able to provide you with a copy. Otherwise contact the IRS and ask for a transcript of your return.

the quicketst way for me was to go back where i filed my taxes at. they keep a record of my stuff all year long, it took all of 2 minutes for her to print it, requesting it on the phone or thru the irs website can take too long !
