How would I know?

I hope if the rapture happens in my life time that I am not left behind. I believe that I won't be here when the world ends no matter when that time might be, for one reason or another I will already be in Heaven worshipping my Father.

technically, after Jesus comes back, the world won't end for another 1,000 years.
however, if all goes as planned w/ Olmert & Abbas, the biblical confirmation of the covenant may be agreed upon by this november. they are working on a peace plan now & are working towards a nov. completion date.
meaning, the final 7 years could start at the end of the year.
so, 7 years after that, Jesus comes back.
i plan, God willing, to still be on the earth when i am raptured.

That will be several billion years from today, the earth will melt and then be absorbed the sun when it transforms into a red giant. The Corona-sphere will extend beyond the earth's orbit.
But will I still be here - Of course I will. we all will. We just won't be alive. Our matter will rejoin the star and continue it's cycle through space and once again we will become stardust in a very distant future.

I'll be here when the world ends for _me_. Or rather, I should say, right before it ends for me.
I imagine that it will keep going just fine for everyone else though.

the Scriptures say that when Israel became a nation in 1948 that the generation that sees this happen would live to see the son of man come again. that means us. not neccesarrily you or me,we might die, but the generation, and a generation is usually 40 yrs. so say you was born in 1970 and i was born in 1956 we would be in that time frame. but for most of us we need to pray up and wait and see. read bible prophecy in the old testament to learn more.

The world will never end.
Even if the people all died, the oceans will still have water, the mountains will still have snow, and the earth will still be here.
