Do Yall Think we Evolved from monkeys?

My neighbor thinks we evolved from a bunch of monkeys, eventhough the Bible tells us that we was created by God. Needless to say, he's also a liberal.

No one who understands and accepts evolution thinks we evolved "from a bunch of monkeys" and no one who understands and accepts evolution would say it in that way. No, I do not think we evolved from a bunch of monkeys, or that life as we know it began as some small amoeba in a pond of water, or that the earth and the universe came into being by some Big Bang either. It's all a bunch of hooey to me and is just mankind's attempt to scientifically prove that what the Bible says is false, even though there is more and more evidence every day disproving many evolution theories and proving the truth of the Bible.

Your neighbor needs to do some basic reading in science. No-one with any knowledge of science would suggest that we evolved from monkeys. We did however evolve, through a wondrous process designed and set into motion by the Creator.

I don't think so because I feel If we did evolve then we would and should have evolved alto more physically in the thousands of years that we have been living. And besides wouldn't the monkeys that you see now have evolved too. Why are there monkeys if we evolved from them. Shouldn't we be the monkeys then? Well I be live that we were created in the image of God, and thats not A monkey.

Evolution is a fact that has been demonstrated over and over. We did not evolve from monkeys however, man and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor. Learn how evolution really works before you start making silly statements that shows everyone how uneducated you really are.

I most assuredly did NOT evolve from monkeys, gorillas, frogs, toads, eagles, maybe a sloth, ummmmm, nope that either, I am just kinda lazy !! I do know some people that MIGHT have came from one of those lines though...... rofl....... but, in all seriousness, I doubt that we came from the same common ancestor as the primates, as others suggest.... as said, most of science is theory..... I will stick to God on this one....... I believe people have changed over the years, which could be called a sort of evolution, but NOT the way most think.... just my humble thoughts......... go in peace....... God bless

Not even scientists who study evolution say we evolved from monkeys, so as a Christian Evolutionist, I'd have to agree with them and say, no. I suppose it never occurred to you that your neighbor says that kind of thing to you just to get on your nerves.
