Or Kung Fu's Dragon Style, or Buddhist Open Palm.

Zui Quan is a very interesting style. I learned some entry level techniques from the style when I was about 15.

There's book and videos on various sites (Amazon, Ebay, you can also search yahoo for "Drunken Fist Form"), but there's two styles of it:

Contemporary- This is the style that is more acrobatic. The exaggerations of the moves are very strong, and the steps, obviously, are staggering. :p
It's great for demos, but you would have modify it for self-defense.
Traditional: This is the style that is more towards self-defense. It's less acrobatic, and more dependent on how you can confuse your opponent (That confusion is the backbone of the style: Fluid, odd, movements, that are done off balance purposely so your opponent can't do it for you :p).

Most of the books and videos you will find, unfortunately (At least in my opinion), are of the contemporary kind. That isn't to say that contemporary can't be used for self-defense, but it will take awhile to kick in.

-I don't know of any schools in Maine. I would suggest that you contact some local Kung Fu/Wu Shu schools in your area about it. Search yahoo or google for local schools. The style is not mentioned very often, because most schools (With the exception of the many schools in China) will not teach you the style unless you master the standard style they teach, Of course, that wouldn't be a problem, because then you would have two disciplines under your belt. ^_^

-You need a good, flexible back (Something I lost recently from all the running I do :( ). Alot of the movements are ended with a simulation of taking rice wine, which historically is what the Zui Quan fighters would do: Your partner would pour you a drink between attacks.

-Youtube has some videos. There's this one with kyokushin guys that murder these Zui Quan fighters, BUT the Zui Quan fighters were much lower in rank equivalent anyway (Experience level seemed to be a factor as well). The master (Who wasn't doing Zui Quan) gave one of the kyokushin guys a good run though. :p

Good luck.

I can't recommend any books but from what I have heard about the character "Shun Di" in Virtua Fighter 2. They really simulated the martial arts into the character. If you have the chance, go up to youtube and look for his video. It should give you rough idea about the Drunken Fist.
