Of course it can. Realistically, almost anything you consume can affect any part of your psyche. And since the drug you're taking is specifically geared to affect your psyche in a profound way, there is absolutely no telling how you will be affected. Even if "diminished sex drive" is not a symptom reported by anyone else who has taken the drug, you can still experience that as a result of taking it yourself.

Our brains and personalities are controlled by a rather poorly understood system of chemicals. There's no telling how any aspect of reality will affect you specifically, except through your own experience and interpretation of such.

Yes, and there are no "safe" antidepressants. You can only hope to find one that has the least side effects for you personally. Your psychiatrist should help you. Generally Buspar is pretty innocous to most people.

Cymbalta can cause some people to gain massive amounts of weight........ Which can affect your sex life, too:-)

Most anti depressants diminish your sex drive and intensity of orgasm. It just takes alot more stimulus, not such a bad thing..lol. I switched to cymbalta and have found it to be not so bad with messing with your sex drive.

it most certainly can. Wellbuterin worked better for me, but everyone is different.
