If you are not use to an activity, it can cause soreness. When jump roping you are using your shoulders/rotary cuff to twirl the rope and your calfs to lift yourself off the ground.

So, yes, soreness in your calfs and shoulders can be expected. Do it repetitively for a few days, or every other day, and the soreness will begin to become less and less noticeable.

Proper stretching and drinking extra water can help alleviate muscle soreness. Water helps rehydrate your muscles after extensive use.

There would be a couple of feasible motives. Anesthesia takes a colossal toll at the frame and muscle and joint discomfort and pain could be very average, primarily if you happen to had been thrashing round as you assert. Blood clots would even be feasible, however not likely in each calves directly and the discomfort might as a rule be greater than a pain.
