Do humans act good and bad because the "dark and light forces" lead them or not?

If the people destroy,kill,burn,abuse often, does that mean that they can't controll and own themselves, but other unseeing forces own and direct them (to their apocalipse)?

I am not sure about dark forces, but I think that deep down they want to hurt, there is intentionality both in bad and good acts, therefore they should be held responsible (men want power, one of the easiest way to achieve it is to suppress or abuse the other, but by doing so in the end they hurt themselves and the entire humanity).

Human beings act the way they do because of a sin nature. This sin nature needs very little assistance from outside sources, as it is bent on doing the wrong thing from the get go.

Our only hope is to take God up on His offer for forgiveness and the gift of a NEW nature.

The death, burial and resurrection of Christ is Gods answer for all who are under the curse of the first Adam. Believe in the second Adam, and be IN CHRIST. Then you have power to do the right things.

In Bhagavad gita Lord Krisna says:
"O scion of Bharata, O conqueror of the foe, all living entities are born into delusion, bewildered by dualities arisen from desire and hate."

Srila Prabhupad explaing in the purport:
"The real constitutional position of the living entity is that of subordination to the Supreme Lord, who is pure knowledge. When one is deluded into separation from this pure knowledge, he becomes controlled by the illusory energy and cannot understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The illusory energy is manifested in the duality of desire and hate."
So, whe the living entity is cover by illusion(the dark force of this material world)and he wants to become the controller and enjoyer. When he acts under this concept, he loss all sense of morality and degraded themselves doing activities meant to destroy.

I believe that people choose to do good and bad things, it's in their control, but after awhile it can become part of their nature, such as anything you do often.

People choose to do what they do and to be who they are. They are their own creation and their own responsibility. Obviously that can't apply to people who are mentally ill.
