Wow, is that sad or what? Are there that many people in life that feel they have no purpose. Says a lot about the state of our world doesn't it? My purpose is to live my life for God. How do I do that? by loving people, helping in any way I can. Raising my kids to be loving people who know they are loved by me and God and that he has a purpose for them and helping them realize it. If people feel they have no purpose it's no wonder they don't see their value to God.

When I was a child, the purpose of my life to was to have fun, learn lots and love lots.

When I was a teenager, the purpose of my life to was to get educated to become an independant person.

When I was in my early 20's, the purpose of my life was to become successful at my work, to gain integrity and move into the work that God wanted of me.

When I was in my 30's, the purpose of my life was to complete my home, mature my mind and body and let others see how God has worked in me.

I'm in my 40's now ... I am the mother 2 little girls, so there's a good enough purpose for anyone. My purpose for this age is to raise these little beautiful souls to become the wonderful women I know they will be.

Point being, our purpose changes with each decade of our life.

You are a biological unit, just like any other living creature. Your purpose is the help perpetuate your species. You are born, you mature to reproductive age, you reproduce, you raise another generation of your kind, you fade, you die. That is your sole biological value in the scheme of things.

But, being human, you have a far more sophisticated compartment of your brain that enables you to be self-aware and to make decisive plans about how you are going to live your life, day to day, and also long-term. Each person makes his own decision about that. When he makes good decisions that contribute to the well being of the community in which he lives, and society as a whole, the overall benefits are usually positive for everyone, himself included. When he chooses instead to be entirely self-serving, and do things which are against the social well being, his life is likely to take a bad course and eventually go against him.

Individuals have no pre-determined purpose except the biological one involving perpetuation of species. What purpose that person chooses to fashion for himself is his decision alone, and he will reap the consequences, good or bad.

I live to do three things:

1) Make music.

2) Drink beer.

3) Have passionate and ill-fated love affairs with as many crazy and disfunctional women as possible.

It is a good life.

To glorify God! I am presently back in college for a psychology degree so I can start a service for counseling couples and families with a biblical foundation. I would also like to lecture and write about these topics and I will in Jesus name! I give Him all the glory!

This physical life is a temporary existance through which we shalled be changed from mortal to immortal. God created the earth and man with a specific—and awe-inspiring—purpose in mind.

God is in the process of creating His own family. He will give humans eternal life, which we will share with Him for eternity. He desires to share His eternal existence with others in a way of life of love toward others. Because of His love, God brought the universe into existence in the first place. It is because of God's love that He gave us a part in it. Life is the result of God's love and His desire to share His love with His immortal family for eternity......This is God's incredible promise to them: "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son" (Revelation 21:7). What does this inheritance include? Hebrews 2:6-8 indicates that our ultimate destiny is to participate in rulership over the entire universe as glorified, immortal children of God!
