the Bronx???

my friend lives in Concourse Village in the bx and i'd like to know if its a safe place to visit during the day or to just spend the day there

i really just want to know about concourse village & not the bronx as a whole- please understand that people

it all depends really. If you are very white, look from out of town and give the impression you don't know what your doing, you're going to get hollered at. if you hispanic or black, you shouldnt have any problem, just try to blend in and not look like a tourist.

The Bronx is coming around, its only south bronx that is a little rough, but just remain confidant, not cocky and don't make much eye contact (seen as an aggressive action) and you will fine.

I've lived in the Bronx my whole life and I'm 22 years old and have never heard of Concourse Village. The Grand Concourse which is a long street starting in the 130's and going up to the 230's runs thru a decent area.

But like what's already been said why do you assiocate the Bronx with violence? If you're don't look suspecious you're not going to be bothered.

Ive been living in the Bronx for years now, Ive never heard of concourse village. Ive heard of the Grand Concourse, the Bronx is a safe place. Trust me! The Grand Concourse is a very long strip, it starts from like 140st till 233 street.

concourse is alright. If I were you I wouldnt go outside at night but in the morning it's cool...the BX isnt that bad...I'm from there

Why do you associate violence with the bronx????? There is violence everywhere in the US not just the Bronx, so stop thinking the Bronx is a violent boro. Just go there any time of the day.
