I am 25 years old, married. My wife is in her senior year. Last year combined, we made $27,000. If I begin school again part-time. Will it affect her financial aid??

Also, is there a specific person who is knowledgeable enough in the FAFSA that can help us? I help her, and then did mine. but I'm not totally confident that I was correct.

I doubt it. If anything it could increase it because your income is less.

The best way to find out is for both of you to fill out a FAFSA and see what your Expected Family Contribution will be if both of you are in school. I tend to agree that it might give both of you more money, at least in loans, and possibly in grants.

Since the two of you will be in school you should have a better chance of getting aid. Her aid (grant) could possibly increase.
