What ever you do DON'T lose it Fast. 1-2 pounds a week is a much better way to do it. It's not so much about how much you lose but keeping it off. Most people when they lose weight fast tend to gain it back and then some. Slow and steady.
Be sure with what ever diet you choose that you get your vitamins into you. A multivitamin would be the best way. Also another recommendation is to drink plenty of water. Not only does the water flush your body of toxins but it will also give you a "full feeling" when your at the dinner table.
One last thing. Consult your family doctor before you try to lose weight. He/she may have some other suggestions for you.

Good luck.

It sounds like you are on the right track. I am not a big fan of weight loss pills, however, I have known people who use Hydroxycut. What you do for this is start with one pill a half hour before you eat then each week increase the dose untill you reach 3 pills before you eat. This will not make you loose weight, it will only help to speed up your metabolism so your body processes your nutrients quicker. If you are eating properly then you may feel hungry more. I would reccoment getting fruit to snack on between meals.
I would also reccomend eating more meals per day, only smaller meals. If you eat more, smaller meals per day that will also increase your metabolism. You will still need to excercise.
Also, remember to drink a LOT of water. Water is not only good for you but it will also help you to "flush" your body of all the extra water weight that you dont need.
Remember, you can eat just about whatever you want, just eat in moderation, drink lots of water, and excercise regular. You should do just fine. Good luck!!

Define "fast". There are many ways to lose it fast, but none of them are healthy and none of them are guarantees that the weight will stay off. Doing what you're doing now is the best way, while losing about a pound/a pound and a half a week, which is the best rate of weight loss to maintain.

Eating right and exercising should mean:

Drinking plenty of water - at least eight 8 oz. glasses a day, and never letting yourself feel "thirsty" throughout the day.

Six meals a day - three "regular" meals and three healthy snacks in-between, with no carbs after 6 p.m.

Balancing cardio with resistance training at least five days a week. Adjust your workouts according to what it is you're trying to do: more cardio to burn fat; less cardio, more weights to build muscle.

Cross-train: try adding new activities to keep your routine from getting boring and to avoid "plateaus" (where your weight loss comes to a screeching halt.) Yoga, swimming, Pilates, racquetball, spinning, martial arts...there's something for everybody.

The you are doing everything right if you are eating healthy and working out... Just make sure you keep your metabolism in high gear by eating small frequent meals... You should have something to eat every 2-3 hours to avoid 'starvation mode' when your body turns things to fat and stores it... I usually have very small healthy meals and smaller healthy snacks in the middle... You eat less, and take in less calories... Instant portion control!

30lbs will take a little bit of time when done the right way... But it will stay off and you will feel better for it... I have lost 37lbs in the past year! So it can be done!

Good luck!

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.

As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that

That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more

You must watch every single thing you eat. Never stray from a very strict diet plan. High fiber, low fat foods are beneficial, and watch your calorie counts. Look up recommendations for calorie intake base on your age, size, and activity level, and stay on the lower end of those calorie counts. Don't skip meals, or starve yourself, though. A god healthy breakfast is actually a great way to get your metabolism going strong, and if you are very active, the extra meal will help you instead of hurting you. Good luck!

the key is to burn more fat/calories than u consume

so basically as long as ur not eating fast food and ur not drinking sodas all the time and u r excercising regularly then u will be fine

also if u stop drinking sodas all together (especially cokes) depending how much u drink now u might lose like 5 lbs right there

You can't lose 30 pounds FAST. If you want to lose 30 pounds eventually, just move more and eat less.
