Its confusing these days, living in such a liberated and sexual society. How soon is too soon to go all the way with a guy you are dating. Your twenties are fillied with sex, but somehow, a girl cant but help to think of her mothers words, that make want to wait. However sex is a big part of a relationship, an isnt it better to find out the chemistry between to people in the beginning so you dont waste your time? Whats a good time frame? And do people out there still wait for marriage, in 2007 american culture makes it hard and confusing with sex being EVERYWHERE you turn, it makes it look like its the norm to have sex freely.

There are probably less people than you think having sex liberally as pro-ported in pop culture. If you are in a committed relationship, then it is OK to sex your guy till you are both sore. If you are sexing more than one person, then it is not OK socially, but it is also potentially dangerous with all of the diseases in this world.
Not to sound like a prude or a bible-thumping Christian, but right now monogamy should be the order of the day. What a mixed bag of messages that pop culture speaks! On one hand they want you to be aware of AIDS, but on the same time make it seem OK to engage in promiscuous sex with no consequences.
That being said, if you want a man to cherish you and not feel like a whore for giving it up too soon, you need to have sex when YOU are ready. Not because everyone else is doing it. You also need to adhere to an 8 date/2 month rule before thinking about getting into the sheets with someone. That way you have time to get to know someone and what they are potentially are as a person before being intimate with them.
