what will be the resulting power?

1. How much power will a 740W electric flat iron rated at 220V 60 Hz consume if 220V DC is used instead? Assume here that the iron is purely resistive and that the resistance does not change with a change in voltage.

740W if it is, as stated, purely resistive

It will be the same since the load is purely resistive and will not care about the AC vs DC coming in.
