that's a video on how to adminster medications to cats....but with one arm, that might be hard unless you are able to mix it in with the cats food. Maybe you can call your vets office and see if they could give you some hints on what you could do or see if they could send someone over or know of someone who could come over and help you out with this.

I too have a not straight forward time giving cats pills. Ask your Vet if there's a liquid resembling the pills and if so applying a eye dropper is the suitable thank you to furnish cats medicine. If there is not any liquid, try crushing the pill and including it to a small quantity of canned cat foodstuff ( try a fish one like tuna or salmon). If that fails, try dissolving the pill in water and applying a dropper to manage the medicine ( ask the Vet if it extremely is okay first). What I do is take the medicine, open my cat's mouth and squirt the medicine in as some distance decrease back as achieveable and carry the cat's mouth close ( do not forget to wrap the cat up in a towel so the front paws are not loose ...do not choose you getting scratched up). good success...you will choose it (smile). If all else fails you purely ought to would desire to take the cat in daily to get medicated or ask a pal who's had extra advantageous success than us in administering pills to cats.

I'm sure most fluids or powders can be mixed in wet food, as long as they eat all of it (give them just enough to get the meds mixed in and keep them separate if they have different meds). I'm not sure about pills...if they can be crushed, maybe try them in wet food, too. My kitties loved the wet food - since it was a treat compared to their dry food.
You might be able to sneak up on them when they're sleeping and pop something down their throat. That wouldn't work with mine - somehow they always know!
I would check with your vet before you do any mixing...and for suggestions. They might have different forms of the same medications that would be easier to give.
Good luck!

Believe it or not, there's lots of easy ways. Sometimes, you can just slip a pill into peanut butter, into a freshly opened can of soft food or even tuna. What's your cat's favorite treat? My cats caught onto that method pretty quickly, so I'd put the pill in a plastic bag, crush the tablet with a hammer and mix the powder into soft catfood. This works for liquid meds too. My mom's old cat loved a spoonful of ice cream for a treat. Mom would put the liquid dose in Catrina's ice cream!

I am sorry, I don't know how you will give fluids with a broken arm.I can tell you that the fluid bag should be hung high for an easier flow. For pills, go to pillpockets.com
Can I ask what you are giving fluids for? If it is something like kidney disease, you shouldn't be feeding that kd stuff the vet sells. email me for more info

I cannot think of any way to give meds to a cat with one arm.
I have to give my cat liquid meds (I refuse to even THINK of trying to pill my cat!), and what I do is I draw up the medicine, grab the cat by the scruff of the neck with one hand and press the tip of the eyedropper against her mouth with the other. She opens her mouth, and I shoot the meds in.
If your cats eat their food regularly, you could try putting it in their food until your arm heals.

With one arm, I don't see how with any method I know.
Have you talked to your vet and explained your predicament? My vet would be more than willing, under the circumstances to have an assistant help every day with that if I'd bring in the cat at no charge.

Having cared for my cat when he got sick earlier this year I found crunching up his tablets with a pestle and mortar and mixing them into a favourite treat ( such as egg yoke or cream) much easier than wresting with him, this should be possible with one arm.
By the way I hope your arm gets better...and your cat...and you soon make friends in your area!!
