Malevolent Design only teaches that not learning is a good thing. I wish more people would realize the ignorance it promotes. Believing in ID should not discount evolution just as your joke states. Sadly it is no joke.

The split of monkeys and apes probably occurred farther back than the split between humans and apes.
ID is a nice thought, but has a extreme theological impact i.e. God doesn't trust us with the truth of creation or he lied.....

I'm with you , well mostly, I think that God or Buddha or Yahweh or whoever put life here and let it evolve on its own. My anthropology professor said it best "Faith is not fact, so you can believe in God and science together

God created man in His own image. he also created the monkeys and every other animal.Animals are not created in the image of God. they are not human.God manifested Himself in Jesus. Jesus was not a monkey or any other kind of animal. This is my proof that evolution does not exist.

This very well be a good belief; I pondered upon it myself.
However, to be able to resolve it you will have to create a new religion, like the one with a gay Jesus, a Bi Jesus, with Black Jesus, etc. lol but true.
