Not at all.

Mechanically altering your weapon such as shearing the sear pin to achieve this is illegal, but using a technique that allows you shoot rounds "as fast as you can pull the trigger" is not.

Besides, rubber bands can be removed. What they dont know wont hurt us.

E.S. Kimo - Basically it is using a method to pull the trigger forward (thumb or rubber band, etc.) while squeezing the trigger and allowing the recoil of the rifle to provide a very rapid shooting pattern. (Liberals would perceive it as rapid fire).

E.S. Kimo - IT HAS NOW! Share the wealth!!!!

"the art of bump firing" = The art of wasting ammo

I know, I used to love to empty 30 round magazines as fast as humanly possible, back when I was young and foolish and couldn't shoot either.

Then I learned to actually appreciate hitting the target, at more and more distance. Then I learned to shoot prone, sitting and offhand and got good enough to actually compete with others. Try it.

With the price of ammo going up it will just get more expensive, but who cares? It is just money. You waste ammo just to blow it away? Whatever, you are an american and can do as you wish. I prefer to practice one shot at a time and make it count.
