If you look on the websites of manufacturers of industrial pushbuttons (and graphics operator interface terminals) like Allen-Bradley you can see the symbols they recommend.

Most originate from ISA, the instrumentation and automation society, that publishes standard ones.

Be careful in using symbols to make sure the actual operators know them and don't just stand around in a crisis trying to decode which of those keys means STOP.

Most commercial electrical supply houses either carry them or can have them engraved for you. About $5.00 to $10.00 each.
