Those that don't know the virtues:

There are three principles, Truth, Love and Courage.

Honesty is respect for Truth

Compassion is Love of others

Valor is Courage to stand up against risks

Justice is Truth, tempered by Love

Sacrifice is Courage to give oneself in name of Love

Honor is Courage to seek and uphold the Truth

Spirituality is to seek Truth, Love and Courage from one's own self and the world around

Humility is the opposite of Pride - the absence of Truth, Love or Courage

Those are definitely great virtues. But there are a few problems that I see.
If honesty is respect for truth, what do you base truth on if not bible? Jesus even said I am the way, the truth and the life, so how can you have truth and leave him out?
Compassion is love for others. How can you have love without the bible because the bible teaches us what love is and says that God is love. So how can you have those virtues without God or the bible?
The same with justice.
And if spirituality is to seek "truth and love" which are taught by the bible and are in fact Jesus and the Father, Jesus being the truth, as in the example I gave above and God being love as is said in 1 John, then how can one be spiritual without them according to this definition?
Sorry, hope you're not offended. That's just my opinion.

Well, granted the Bible is a long *** book...ummm doubtful.
More bang for your buck in the eight virtues for sure. Sweet and simple. But if you read the Bible you might find in between the hundreds of years and the rib that was used to make me, a woman, God put some spiritual messages in it.
Believe in the virtues, yes, more truth than the Bible, that might be a stretch.

Sounds good to me. Might want to add Tolerance...

There potentially are other virtues such as pride in doing a job well done (contrasted with unfounded, self-love pride), that could be added, but I think that these capture the basics.
