Whatever you can see with your eyes here is but mere illusion and is bound to decay one day or the other. The Ultimate Reality is hidden somewhere where not everyone can have access to. Only the ones who are eager to tread the path of light are bound to see light at the end of the tunnel. There lies a world within us which is far more bigger and far more wonderful than this one. Intense meditation, getting the right knowledge and putting it into practice in the right way and the right time will surely give positive results. This world gives you temporary happiness whereas the 'other world' gives you permanent happiness in this lifetime and the lifetimes to come. The Ultimate Reality is totally beyond this fake world!

Very true, and I think obvious if you think about it. (Sounds like you've been reading Lieh Tzu -- or Chuang Tzu, or something similar?)

To me this means that what we see, what we experience, is not absolute reality but only how our minds interpret things. What is truly real is not precisely the world we see. Also there are things beyond the ability of our senses to detect, but they are still real.

What we see as reality is only a distorted and incomplete reflection of the true reality we don't see.

ADDENDUM: Those who think of this strictly in terms of maye and nirvana should read the story of Chuang Tzu and the butterfly and ask how they know for sure which is real, or if they're both illusion hiding an even deeper reality -- or perhaps they're different parts of reality and its all real in its own way?

This is actually an extremely deep question Anil. Its so easy for us to look at things and judge its content by what is obvious. It is indeed true to say that what is visible is not all that there is, that the true reality of this world goes on in the unseen realm. Sometimes I may see a person that annoys me, but to see that behind this person is something bigger. It may be that the enemy has attacked me through this person or that I am being inwardly dealt with by the Lord for my temper.
Today, all that God is doing that is truly REAL is in the Unseen realm.
We may think that our warfare is against flesh and blood but the bible reveals that we fight against principalities and powers and rulers and authorities. Spiritual wickedness in Heavenly places.

This is on the negative side
But on the positive side there is God's work and His purpose being accomplished in the unseen realm. His Body is being built in an unseen realm. Yes we admit that there are is a physical side to God's work .. but the true building and working of God is done in spirit. Here is a verse anil.
Ephesians 2:22
In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit.

Praise the Lord that today we can still be living epistles testifying to God's reality, yet moreso, we can give ourselves inwardly to be fit together and built together into a dwelling place for God in our spirit.

Excellent question

I think they are both true and they are both untrue. It depends on what you are talking about. I say they are both true as we cannot see many things that are spiritual, yet they are real. Contrarily, that which we see on earth looks real, but it's really been created my man, and will pass away when man no longer believes in it. Or another way to look at it is that when we have a ton of money we think we are wealthy, but if we have no one to love we are truly poor.

It is true. what we see in most cases is not real. we seem to be stationary. |but we are not .the earth is rotating around its own axis at about a speed of around more than 11oo miles per hour as the circumfrence of he earth which ios measuring abou 28000 miles makes one circle in about 24 hours.do we feel thje motion?all those messaiahs , prophets etc who claim to have seen ?god have not been told y ?god about this when they were told about the creation of the world .(vide genesis , the first book of Moses) the sky which appeas to forma vault over the earth as thought by Mosses who wrote that God said that" let there be a vault " and the sky appeared .There is no vault and ther eid nothng at all aboe the end of the air blanket over the earth and the is no blue material coving he earth. It is alll mere false vision. the earth itself is travelling as a natural sattelie around the sun at the speed of 67000 miles per hour .|Can you imagine the speed ? Do we experience the effect of this motion? did god tell the Messaiahs and prophets about this ?Was god who created all this ignorant of all this ? We do not see the air on the surface of the earth .We are living under an ocean of air just like the fishes livbing under the ocean of water .Out of water , the fishes die.Out of air we die .We think that we are independent and do nt requie any body's support or assistance for our living .but we are dependent on the air produced by the plants and and the water prouced falling as rain .We are all interconnected and we breath the air exhaled by ohter people. plants and the animals too . We think that we are stanidn upright .But our antepodes think that they are standing upright and those living in polaces that are located on all sides of he golbe are standing sideways if some one who is out of he gravitational influence of he earth can see us from above.so what gever is seen is not really what they look like and they are unreal.this is why the hindus call it the world of Maya .- the world of unreality.

Yes true,

1. It is called Maye
2. There is also 3 worlds in the same place. That is why they say 3 times "Shathi" in mantras.

Reality becomes unreal based on the perception of the person who holds his truth on the unreal. Its the frame through which he perceives things. So your statement is true.

We look at the things
With emotions.
If we have no emotions
We can see the reality of those things.
