When there is the desire to align with a 'higher' focus, as you're expressing here, there is a purification of sorts that must take place. The conscious choice to 'be' is the welcoming of this purification.
IOW, the choice to be happy is the expression of the desire to be happy rather than the being happy itself. Following this desire, we find ourselves confronted by challenges, (as you see in some of the answers to your statement of good wishes)and these challenges point us to all the beliefs, attitudes and fears that are the source of our unhappiness. This is the purification.
This process can take many twists and turns, but, if it ends, it always ends in the same place; surrender. There is no other way. Your happiness waits for you on the other side of surrender. This I can promise you.
Love.

Well thank you. That was a very nice greeting. I wish everyone (of all faiths/non-beliefs) were that friendly. You have a great day, too!

None of us really knows?
Are you sure? We atheists are wagering an awful lot on our convictions, according to many theists here. I hardly think we would risk eternal damnation if we weren't rather comprehensively convinced of being right.

Be yourself - the greatest freedom you can experience when you are yourself but it pale against the Freedom Jesus give when He sets us Free; we are Free.... indeed!
